In the Rakai District of southeastern Uganda, villages are very poor and water is scarce. School facilities are very minimal. The 300 students at this school received a borehole this year and no longer have to drink contaminated water (see the picture). Funds for this borehole were donated by the McFadden Family of Omaha NE.
