A new borehole
was drilled on the campus of Kyotera Secondary School in the Kyotera District
of southeastern Uganda earlier this year (see picture below). This school is a one of the strongest in the
region, and 417 students board at the school to study at both O and A level. Previously, these students were fetching
their drinking water from an open pond a half-kilometer from campus, and were
sick from the contaminated water. Now,
with the new borehole right on campus, 417 students, boys and girls, can drink
clean water and are healthy to study. Many thanks to all of you for making this
possible!!
