Early this year, we reached our goal of $9000 for a borehole well at St. Joseph’s Secondary School in Kyankwanzi, Uganda! The well was drilled in late spring and in June we went to Uganda to see the new borehole. More than 450 students now have clean water to drink, and no longer have to fetch water from filthy ponds
In June, when we traveled to Uganda, we were able to take some teaching tools to two of the schools that Quench and Connect is supporting. After we provide a borehole to schools, and as soon as students’ health improves and they become strong and can study, then our next goal is to work with the teachers at the schools
