A new borehole was drilled at the end of 2020 on the campus of The Vision Secondary School in the Lira District of northern Uganda.  This school was established in 2012 in a region of Uganda that is still struggling to recover from years of civil unrest.  After peace came, local citizens and parents worked together to build the school

Update on the novel coronavirus pandemic in Uganda

We want to give you an update on the struggle with the pandemic in Uganda.  Fortunately, Uganda has been able to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus quite well, and to date there have been only ~40,000 infections among the 45,000,000 citizens of the country and less than 350 deaths.  Hospitals have been able to treat patients without overload.
