Quench and Connect university scholarship students

In May, this year, our second recipient of a university scholarship, Kayongo David, finished his course-work for the Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering from Makerere University in Uganda. He is a bright and talented student who will graduate in formal ceremonies in November with a cumulative grade-point average of 4.24/5.00, and recognition by listing on the Dean’s list

New borehole at Kabaale Sanje Secondary School

Recently, a new borehole was drilled (see picture) on the campus of Kabaale Sanje Secondary School in the Rakai District of southern Uganda, near the border with Tanzania. This school is the largest in the district with nearly 3000 students enrolled who come from mostly poor farming families. It is the largest school to ever receive a borehole from Quench
