Katie Schmitz Eulitt is Director Outreach Global Investors at the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation (IFRS, formerly Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB). She led the team that put SASB on the map by recruiting industry working groups comprising investors, companies, and other key stakeholders to vet SASB’s industry-based standards for the disclosure of performance on material sustainability-related factors to investors. Katie also established SASB’s Investor Advisory Group comprising 60+ institutional investors including large asset owners and asset managers across 13 markets. Following SASB’s consolidation into the IFRS Foundation, the IAG now serves the International Sustainability Standards Board.

Formerly, Katie was Vice President for Business Development at WaterHealth International (WHI), a social entrepreneur corporation that provides purified drinking water to rural communities in India, Africa and the Philippines. She developed WHI’s business model, established key partnerships and pilot programs, and coordinated funding from government, multilateral and non-profit financing organizations. Katie has a strong international vision, with skills in fostering sustainable development and delivering quantifiable results. Her interests include yoga, which is practiced across the globe. Her energy and global insights will be key for future expansion and growth of Quench and Connect.
